Founded in 2012, Wooden Horse is more than just a tribute band—it is a masterclass in musical nostalgia. Based in Connecticut and performing across the country, we are the only show dedicated to the simultaneous celebration of two of the most influential catalogs in rock history: America and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

Our Sound
Capturing the essence of the 1970s requires a rare level of vocal chemistry and technical precision. Our six-piece ensemble specializes in the intricate, multi-part harmonies and lush arrangements that defined a generation. Whether it’s the breezy, sun-soaked gallop of "Ventura Highway" or the complex, soulful movements of "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes," we recreate every note with surgical accuracy and heartfelt authenticity.

Our Journey
Over the last decade, Wooden Horse has moved from regional stages to some of the most prestigious venues in the Northeast, including Foxwood’s Fox Theatre, The Loos Center for the Arts, The Bradley Theatre, and Off the Rails Worcester. Our performances have become a staple at concert halls, festivals, and municipal summer series, where we bring together lifelong fans and new listeners alike.

The Band
The Wooden Horse experience is powered by a full six-piece rocking band featuring acoustic and electric guitars, a driving rhythm section of drums and percussion, bass, and a full keyboard section.
